  • The DoD Corrosion Office Produces New Video Games to Train Military Personnel
    The DoD Office of Corrosion Policy and Oversight has started production on the first of three video games designed to train DoD personnel about the science of corrosion. Similar interactive games on the science of polymers and ceramics will be developed in 2008 using hands-on military exercises in a Sim-City, time-based format.   • DoD Corrosion Policy and Oversight Forum to be Held at the NACE Conference & Expo in New Orleans
    The next quarterly forum for the DoD corrosion community will kick off at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside on Monday, March 17, 2008. The meeting will happen in conjunction with the NACE International Conference and Expo in New Orleans, from March 16 through 21.   • Veteran Battelle Scientist Compiles Data and Observations on Atmospheric Corrosion
    DoD Corrosion Office plans to release a book-length study to the public that documents data and conclusions from corrosion monitoring in various atmospheric environments. William H. Abbott, a senior scientist at Battelle-Columbus, has written and compiled the document. (Read More...)
